"Don't throw sticks at the trees!" my Mum said,
"Only hooligans do that!
If that stick falls on someone's head,
It could knock them flat!"
That's what my Mum said.
"Don't be in such a rush!" my Mum said,
"Just wait until they fall."
But waiting was no good.
The hooligans, with bits of wood,
Just came and got them all.
Once, I was standing by the tree
At the corner of our street,
When the biggest one you've ever seen
Fell right down at my feet!
I wasn't doing anything -
The tree just sort of dropped it.
I haven't got it any more;
I swapped it.
